The Nirranderra strewnfield centres around the town of Port Campbell Victoria The main area around Port Campbell is a coastal park , Collecting of Australites is forbidden in this area .Australites can be found in the white sands exposed along the egdes of the road ,creeks and gullies between Moolight head and Port Campbell and as far inland as Simpson .It is best to go collecting after a heaving shower , and preferably not in summer when there are lots of snakes about . |
