The Ultimate Collector’s Piece: Genuine Megalodon Teeth Now Available!
A fresh selection of genuine Megalodon teeth has just arrived—direct from the depths of the Miocene epoch to our shelves! Spanning a massive stretch of time from about 23 to 5 million years ago, the Miocene was an incredible era of warmer global climates when modern mammal groups began to flourish and massive marine predators ruled the oceans. These particular teeth date right back to the heart of that era, roughly 15 million years ago. They belonged to the apex predator of apex predators, the largest shark ever to roam the seas. Despite their incredible age, they’ve survived shifting continents, ice ages, and deep-sea currents, and they’re still in better condition than some people’s dentures!
Because these massive predators shed thousands of teeth in a lifetime, each fossil has its own distinct battle scars, serrations, and unique coloration based on the minerals that preserved it over millions of years. Whether you are a seasoned fossil collector, a die-hard shark lover, or just someone who appreciates a piece of prehistoric history with a very serious bite, these won’t last long.
Drop by the Crystal World Exhibition Centre to see them in person.
